Very valid points, this is something i can definitely relate to. Thanks for doing what you do😊😊😊
Thanks for always inspiring me my love! Xoxoxo
You’ve covered a lot of good points here and I couldn’t disagree with you at all. You’re spot on. Personally, I feel as though if the mentee does not possess these qualities, they will ultimately not have a very good experience or get very much out of the experience. Furthermore, it’s possible that the mentor might “fire” the mentee if they don’t have these qualities.

You are so right on both counts. Thanks for stopping by!
It’s so nice to have that drive to allow you to reach your goals better. I think these 10 qualities will not only make your mentor proud but will help you become successful as well.
Absolutely!
Well we all need some kind of guidance however independent we are. We need someone to guide, not to be our other hand. Those points you have covered in this blog, But some of the points I kind of disagree that Mentee has to know, maybe even for a fresher as well.
Love this list! I am a mentee and it has brought so much to my life!
Definitely great ones!I would probably add level-headed and calm to the list! I have worked with so many people who are very driven but way too energetic for me to deal with, lol. When there’s too much energy things are all over the place.
These are such great points! And you’re so right about all of them! Without these qualities I know my past mentees would not have been people I found as helpful. I think they are qualities people either have or don’t, so those who have them are lucky and should put them to good use!
Following up is key. You can not mentor someone and not follow up, they will lose hope in you.
This is so good! Normally advice is given for mentors, but I love that you gave it fro the opposite angle.
I think being a good listener and being able to connect and stay focused are important assets too. Very well thought list!
Follow up is so important when it comes to being a mentee. You cannot just think you have given the person advice and then leave them hanging in the wind. I had that happen to me, and that never made me very happy.
Great points!! I like the angle you took on this! You must be open to listening and hearing for sure!
I love this and will be forwarding to my daughters. They are recent college grads and are being mentored in the professional lives. These are great tips.
By mentee do you mean someone who is being mentored? If so, it definitely probably helps the mentor a lot if you have these qualities.
Wohh exactly what I was looking for, thanks for posting.
You are welcome 🙂
